Laser Hair Removal
Permanently reduce unwanted hair with targeted energy that destroys the hair at its roots. 55% of men have unwanted body hair, and 87% of women have unwanted body hair. This is a normal human experience and almost all areas of the body can be safely treated.
By treating unwanted hair, we are not causing any ill physiological effects. In fact, we can safely and effectively target the hair without damaging the surrounding tissue. On average 6-9 sessions should be expected, after just 1 session we begin to see significant hair reduction. Laser hair removal can safely reduce hair in all skin types, for effective results the hair must be darker than the skin. The area to be treated must be cleanly shaven and should not be actively tanned via sun exposure, tanning lotions, or artificial sun beds.

How Vacuum-Assisted Technology Works
The vacuum gently draws skin into the handpiece, stretching it thin and drawing the target closer to the energy source. Energy is applied to the target, causing melanocytes to spread apart and blood flow to be constricted. The target is damaged, and the skin is released.
Advantages of High-Speed Vacuum Assisted Technology
- Efficacy: A reduction in competing chromophores enables the delivery of laser energy more efficiently.
- Safety: Less energy is absorbed by the epidermis and lower fluence is required since the target is closer to the energy source.
- Decreased pain: The unique vacuum mechanism activates tactile and pressure skin receptors to inhibit the transmission of pain sensation.

How ChillTip TM Works
The skin is cooled before and during treatment. The skin is compressed. Then a laser beam is applied to the skin, and the target is damaged.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation
SkinPro uses Stellar M22 IPL technology to provide targeted, effective, skin rejuvenation. Dark Ink Tattoo Removal
Using a Q-Switch Nd:Yag Laser we can effectively lift dark tattoo inks with blue and black pigment. When you direct the 1064 wavelength of light to a tattoo, the light will penetrate the skin and is absorbed by the tattoo ink. The light waves convert to heat and break down the tattoo ink into particles, which are slowly eliminated via our body systems. It is a long process, so you can not achieve the goal instantly. It requires several sessions, particularly when a tattoo is large. The color of the tattoo ink also affects the progress. Microneedling
Collagen revitalization therapy by SkinPro is done using the highest quality Health Canada approved microneedling device and products on the market. Microneedling is the ideal treatment for those looking to focus on skin tightening, pigmentation, texture, pore size, fine lines, scars, or stretchmarks, without the use of laser. Microneedling can be combined with Microdermabrasion, IPL Skin Rejuvenation, and Laser Rejuvenation for increased results. Microneedling is not the best option for those with highly vascular skin or those with uncontrolled rosacea.
Exfoliating Skin Peels
We utilize superior cosmeceutical ingredients to provide safe and effective peels for all skin types and skin conditions. Peels are extremely effective in the treatment of melasma, oily, acneic, congested, dull, lackluster skin. We choose from AHA, BHA, Tri-phasic, and Tranexamic acid peels to ensure you get the highest quality results.
Enzyme peels are a safe choice of exfoliation for sensitive skin, expectant mothers, and are ideal for regular use.

Dermaplaning is also an effective treatment for reducing vellus hair on the skin’s surface. We do not suggest this treatment for those with acne prone skin. Dermaplaning is a popular pre-glam facial and may be done 1-2 days prior to self tanning and 3-5 days prior to a special event!

Does SkinPro accept walk in appointments?
No, SkinPro does not guarantee availability. We are a small boutique based studio and work on a by appointment basis only. For appointment requests or to purchase products please reach out or shop via the website or email.
Do I have to shave myself before laser?
Yes, please come with the area of treatment cleanly shaven within the 24 hours prior to your appointment. We can offer touch ups in small areas but can not guarantee accurate treatments or results in non-shaven areas. We will always do our best to accommodate you, however we cannot guarantee the time or the ability to shave you.
Why are prices in the esthetic/laser industry so variable?
